In 1991, Goodies & Grains set up shop next to Adelaide Central Market with just a small selection of bulk buy pantry staples. Today, the store stocks more than 5000 products, with a range that’s constantly changing to keep up with customer requests and current food trends.
Having been involved in food and beverage for so long, Chris decided to start a retail business near the Central Markets. It became Goodies & Grains in 1991 and started with just a few bulk products. Slowly through customer requests the product range expanded to organic products along with conventionally grown healthy products, mostly sourced through local suppliers and growers. Today, there are over 5000 products in the store, mostly bulk products with some 40% of the range being organically grown.
