Acre Eatery is a farm-to-table restaurant, part of the revitalised community hub, Camperdown Commons.
Their mission is to create consciousness around everyday food choices by providing a sustainable menu focused on transparency, seasonality and traceability. This starts with being ‘loyal to local’ by limit food travel miles to no more than eight metres from the restaurant; prioritising sustainable produce from the on-site, four-season farm run by Pocket City Farms.
Together with other small to medium sized local farms, Acre strives to highlight the abundance of New South Wales on the menu.
You may have heard of ‘nose to tail’, but Acre also works with the approach of ‘root to tip’, ensuring all off-cuts from protein and produce are used to minimise waste and maximise yield. All proteins are sustainably sourced.
